On a soggy July morning last week, BBP launched its partnership with Green Caffeen at The Foliage Cafe in North Sydney with a free coffee for everyone who used the Green Caffeen app to purchase a take away coffee. We were joined by North Sydney Mayor Zoe Baker who came out to support local business. Regular customers were amazed by how easy it is to use the Green Caffeen and shocked by the statistic that 2.7 million disposable cups are still being discarded across Australia every day!

Its so simple to use this system. Just download the app onto your mobile phone. You need to put a credit card in as a deposit but no funds will be withdrawn unless you do not return a cup after a month (and a couple of gentle email reminders). When you forget your reusable cup and want a coffee to go, just ask for a Green Caffeen cup and you will only pay for the cost of the coffee to the cafe. Return it to any Green Caffeen registered cafe within a month. Its soooo easy and cool to be Green Caffeen!
