Jaynika Patel is the BBP Program Manager dedicated to businesses located and operating within the Willoughby City Council local government area. Jaynika is a trained Optometrist in the UK but has decided to take the plunge with a career change along with a move abroad, she is excited to work with the community for the council. She recently hosted a Climate Café in Sydney. She is your single point of contact for sustainable business relating to Willoughby Council.

Free design consultancy for residential strata and commercial buildings solar
As part of the Our Green City Plan 2028 to increase solar systems on schools, commercial and residential buildings to assist the community in reducing carbon emissions, Willoughby City Council is offering commercial buildings and residential strata free consultancy support to design rooftop solar systems. Recently Council adopted accelerated targets and joined the Cities Race To Zero, the new targets include achieving net-zero within the community by the 2040s or sooner.
