Local chambers of commerce and business networks took a hit during the enforced lockdowns of the past 2 years, as did local businesses. The Better Business Partnership has a long history of working side by side with local chambers of commerce across its Partner Council areas and we are looking forward to re-establishing connections with all the local chambers and business networks that are active in our Partner Councils of North Sydney, Ku-ring-gai and Willoughby.

Now we are able to socialise and network again, it is wonderful to be back out mingling and making connections again. We were thrilled to be able to hold the BBP Sustainable Business Meet-Up  earlier this year at the North Sydney Coal Loader. The Ku-ring-gai Chamber of Commerce is activating monthly events again and Amanda from BBP attended the recent event in May “Business supporting Community Not For Profits” which was hosted at the Ku-ring-gai Neighbourhood Centre in St Ives, which is also a member of BBP! Rotary Wahroonga meet every Wednesday morning for a cheerful breakfast meeting at the Warawee Club and BBP was very happy to join them last week and address the lively group.  Amanda is pictured here with President Peter Kirkwood OAM and IP President Janelle Speight.

For those in the North Sydney area, the Neutral Bay Community Centre is hosting a networking night on Thursday 2 June where BBP will be on the Panel of the Business Forum. Come along and join us, register a free spot here.
