As an independent, not for profit community organisation North Sydney Community Centre aims to enhance the quality of life for those living, working or studying in our area and wider community.
We offer Explorers Playgroup, After School Care, Adult Classes and Workshops, In Conversation and special events as well as the twice-monthly Northside Produce Market.
The centre has continued its popularity as a creative hub, with lots of new classes, workshops and events developed and added to our program every year.
Each term we offer different adult classes (min. 18 yrs) including Creative, Food & Beverages, Music & Dance, Health and Wellbeing, Languages and Lifestyle & Travel catering to varying tastes and levels of ability.
For children we offer our Explorer’s Playgroup providing creative play sessions for under 5s with experienced play leaders setting up a wide range of activities with an emphasis on child-initiated play. e host Music & Movement classes for under 5’s on Friday mornings. For 5-12 year olds we run an After School Care program. Each afternoon up to 105 school aged children make the most of the Centre’s facilities through our comprehensive program.
Throughout the year we host Independent and Centre Exhibitions, Film Nights and Community Forums. There’s always a host of FREE Community Events.
