Whether you’re a resident, educator, business owner or a passionate local – we are working with a group of like-minded residents to encourage action around energy, waste and transport. Join the Net Zero team from Ku-ring-gai Council as we look at the key issues, identify skills within the group and work out a plan for action. This initial event originally planned to be a face to face engagement has been moved online so we keep the momentum going, with a plan to meet up when all is clear with Covid! We will be joined by:
- Professor Andy Pitman, Director of the Australian Research Council’s Centre of Excellence for Climate Extremes, an internationally recognised leader in Climate Science and also a Ku-ring-gai resident.
- Jo Taranto, founder of Good for the Hood, who is creating meaningful change in our communities.
