NABERS (which stands for National Australian Built Environment Rating System) provides a simple, reliable, and comparable sustainability measurement you can trust across building sectors like hotels, shopping centres, apartments, offices, data centres and more have recently launched the NSW Energy Starters offer.
What is the Energy Starters offer?
This NSW Government funded offer supports NSW customers to get on the path to measuring and managing and kickstart their energy efficiency journey. This limited offer will provide eligible applicants with a contribution of $3,000 (ex GST) for the first-year energy rating, action plan and second year rating. This offer is available for energy ratings for a range of NSW building types – see the terms and conditions on the NABERS website.
How to apply?
Seek a competitive quote for two ratings from an Assessor company (you may choose to get more than one quote). A list of accredited NABERS assessors can be found here. Ask your assessor to provide advice on how to improve your building’s performance between the two ratings as part of their offer. Your NABERS assessor will do the rest!
New Buildings Offer
We have also launched the New buildings offer! This offer supports New buildings and existing buildings going through major upgrades to commit to energy performance targets beyond those required by the building code. The offer will waive the fee of the commitment agreement ($7,210). Applications open until 30 June 2022.
