Judging nominations open

02 April 2015

Better Business Partnership is calling for nominations of judges for the Better Business Awards 2015.

The Better Business Partnership (BBP) is a regional, sustainable business project for the North Shore. Funded by Ku-ring-gai, Lane Cove, North Sydney, and Willoughby City Councils, the project provides a free service to assist businesses in these Council areas to improve their sustainability performance in particular to reduce energy and water consumption and waste.

The Better Business Partnership also assesses the business’ interaction with the community, its support of staff, its efforts to develop sustainable purchasing, its accessibility for people with a disability and the reduction of environmental impacts associated with the use of transport.

An important element of the Better Business Awards is the reward and recognition of champion businesses who are working towards success through sustainability. With this in mind Better Business Partnership will be staging our third Better Business Awards.

Time commitment required by Judges

The role of a judge is voluntary; therefore BBP is mindful to ensure that the judging process is streamlined.

The Judging Panel will have materials electronically sent to them for prior reading and  assessment from Friday 8th May and will be required to meet for 2-3 hours on either Wednesday 13th, Thursday 14th or Friday 15th May at 34 Devonshire Street, Chatswood.

Whilst this role is unpaid, BBP will provide each judge with a gift as a token of our appreciation and all judges will be offered one ticket to attend the Awards ceremony.

To register your interest mail the team for more details.
