BBP Talks Wrap Up

09 March 2015

Over 85 people attended the second events as part of BBP’s three part Better Business Talks with the theme “Get the local edge”. The series focuses on how local businesses can get a competitive advantage by connecting with their local community.

The second events “Business Health Check” were held in the village locations of Artarmon, Lane Cove, North Sydney and Turramurra. Attendees were taken through a simple checklist on how to improve their business, increase customer loyalty and achieve success through sustainability. Business Health Check 1

It was great to hear that so many attendees found the Business Health Check series so relevant and useful. Feedback included: “Jo Kelly was amazing, she highlighted many things we are already doing in my business but so many more we can and will implement”.

The part of the event people enjoyed most was “the personal stories and anecdotes of experience people” and “hearing the talks about what marketing and loyalty can do for business”. There’s something contagious about seeing other people’s enthusiasm and hearing about their initiatives to operate more sustainably. It’s our pleasure to help facilitate these actions.
