Willoughby businesses support "Fostering Young Lives"

06 September 2012

On the 22nd of August, Sage Hair and Beauty Lounge in Willoughby hosted a fundraising evening, raising $2400 for the Benevolent Society’s “Fostering Young Lives” program, in their gorgeous Art Deco lounge.

Sage felt this was a great opportunity not only to raise money for The Benevolent Society but also to pamper local Willoughby foster mums who do an incredible job through the “Fostering Young Lives” program. Sage, along with neighbouring Willoughby Road businesses donated fantastic prizes to the raffle and Sage raised $2400 for The Benevolent Society 'Fostering Young Lives" Program. This is an inspiring collective effort in community support for a valuable program.

Sage have recently joined BBP where we have acknowledged the steps they have taken towards a more sustainable business. In addition to their contribution to community charities like The Benevolent Society and local schools, they have conducted a lighting audit, save water wherever possible, minimised waste and recycle wherever possible, support staff extensively and assist in training. They use only paraffin / phosphate free and PETA approved products, green cleaning products, mineral makeup, and purchase Australian made wherever they can.
